Anthem College Online partners with Fresh Start Women's Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that focuses on creating self-empowerment for women in transition. The College donates books, hosts professional clothing drives, and hosts monthly Education Days at the Fresh Start office. College staff include longtime Career Service volunteers. The College is also developing an interactive behavioral intervention program for Fresh Start.
Business Management
Students in the business management associate degree program take concentration courses that include business, management, finance and economics. Core courses address topics such as communications, psychology and career success. Students take courses that give them the tools they need to evaluate general business issues and solve common business problems. Other courses address different aspects of business life such as human resource management and conflict resolution.
Criminal Justice
Anthem College Online offers a criminal justice associate degree program. It includes an introduction to corrections course along with courses in criminal law and the adversarial process, criminology, investigations, and firearms theory. The program also includes core courses or general education courses teach topics that are useful in nearly every vocation or profession.
Students study psychology, communications, algebra, ethics, American government, and more. They also learn practical skills such as computer applications, English composition, and career success. Persons who complete this Associate of Science in Criminal Justice degree can compete for entry-level positions as security guards, gaming surveillance, corrections officers, and court bailiffs.
