Loyola University New Orleans offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Health Care Systems Management (HCSM). The HCSM program focuses on knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of nursing leadership positions in health care organizations.

Master of Science in Nursing specializing in HCSM
For busy nursing professionals ready to take their career to the next level, Loyola University New Orleans offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Health Care Systems Management (HCSM) made available through a completely online format.
Making access to coursework, and a higher paying career, as easy as logging on to the internet, Loyola's MSN-HCSM curriculum provides students with a modern method in which to earn essential knowledge and skills. After just two years of study, these capabilities can be applied to a variety of in-demand nursing leadership roles.
MSN-HCSM curriculum covers a broad spectrum of topics ranging from nursing administration, management, to leadership, finance, quality improvement health promotion, disease prevention/management, integrated delivery systems, managed care strategies, and workforce management.
MSN Bridge Program
An RN who has a non-nursing bachelor's degree may be admitted to Loyola's MSN program without obtaining a BSN degree. To be admitted to the MSN program, the RN must complete Loyola's MSN Bridge program which is now offered online.
The online bridge program is composed of integrated upper division, undergraduate nursing courses that serve as prerequisites to 700-level (graduate) nursing courses. This 6-credit bridge program covers important themes including leadership, health promotion, community, and professional development.
