West class schedules are designed to dovetail with your busy schedule. Study on campus, online live with West Interactive OnlineSM, or both. Classes meet once a week for 2 months and new sessions start every month. You can attend your live online class or watch your recorded class during the week.
AA in Business
Whatever field you decide to pursue, you have to begin with an understanding of business. It's the core of any career and a good way to gain an edge on workers who lack this degree. With an AA in Business, you'll build a solid background of general knowledge, as well as a broad-based business foundation. This program enables you to proceed directly into the Core and Major Requirements of any bachelor degree program offered at WIU.
BA in Behavioral Science

BA in Criminal Behavior
Does law enforcement, criminal justice, or social work interest you as a career choice? This degree program combines courses in criminal justice and behavioral science to prepare you for success in a variety of professional settings in the areas of crime prevention, the administration of justice, or rehabilitation. You'll learn about public policy and the causes, enforcement, and prevention of crime in today's society.
BA in Human Resource Mgmt

You'll deal with issues ranging from operations management to labor relations, while learning how to develop a safe and successful workplace. BA in Legal Studies
Are you intrigued by the law and how it works in our society and around the world? Would you like to learn how to negotiate, mediate, and investigate judicial affairs? The BA in Legal Studies program builds a basic foundation in understanding the roles of law, justice, and governance and the impact these have on society. You will acquire knowledge of a variety of judicial, political, and economic systems, as well as laws and policies that can be applied in multiple areas of government and business. You can select ten major courses that interest you; you can choose five major courses and one minor; or you can choose dual minors. For you, that might mean Accounting, Legal Studies, or Marketing. Whatever excites you, your minor will provide excellent preparation for further graduate study. Not sure which minor(s) to choose? Not to worry — you won't declare the minor until you are further along in your program, so you have time to decide! Toward the end of the program, students can apply for an internship course (located in Arizona), which provides the opportunity to integrate their business education with real-world experience.
